The flue gas seawater desulfurization process is a wet desulfurization method that uses natural seawater as an absorbent to remove SO2 from flue gas. It has a history of nearly 30 years of development and application abroad. The flue gas seawater desulfurization technology was initially widely used in Norway for flue gas desulfurization in industrial kilns of refineries. In recent years, its application in coal-fired or oil fired power plant boilers in other countries has developed rapidly. Currently, more than 30 sets of seawater desulfurization devices have been put into operation or are about to be put into operation
