Recently, Luneng Control and the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences signed a cooperation agreement on the development of a domestic chemical industrial gas turbine control system. The Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences has been committed to the research of domestic gas turbines for a long time. In 2017, it established an advanced gas turbine laboratory to promote the combination of domestic gas turbine design and manufacturing technology. Since its establishment in 1998, Luneng Control has independently developed dispersed control systems and innovative control products widely used in many industries such as power generation, chemicals, building materials, and new energy. The company has strong R&D capabilities and rich engineering experience. Faced with the major issue of domestic gas turbine development, the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Luneng Control have discussed the technical bottleneck of gas turbine control system many times, and finally reached an intention to jointly develop a domestic gas turbine control system and signed a cooperation agreement.
In order to ensure that the development plan is practical, the two parties recently held the "Evaluation Meeting on the Development of Industrial Gas Turbine Control System" in Jinan. Technical experts from China United Heavy Gas Turbine Technology Co., Ltd., Qingdao Taizhong Energy Technology Co., Ltd., West-East Gas Pipeline Branch of China Petroleum and Natural Gas Co., Ltd., Guiyang Jingzhi Technology Co., Ltd., State Grid Shandong Electric Power Science Research Institute and other units participated in the review. The experts listened to the report of Luneng Control's "Development Plan for Industrial Gas Turbine Control System" at the meeting. After careful discussion, they unanimously agreed that the "Development Plan" has advanced technology and complete functions, and that various indicators can meet the control requirements of gas turbines. The "Development Plan" successfully passed the review. This time, we will cooperate with the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to carry out the development of the domestic gas turbine control system. Luneng Control will give full play to the technical R&D strength and engineering experience of the control system, and make due contributions to the development of the domestic gas turbine control system.
